Welcome to the International Seminar on Tropical Natural Resources.
We are delighted to extend an invitation to participate in the International Seminar on Tropical Natural Resources 2015 (istnr2015) organized by University of Mataram to promote wise use and management of tropical natural resources. The theme of the seminar is Toward sustainable utilization of tropical natural resources for better human prosperity”. The seminar will cover wide topics on Tropical Natural Resources including Tropical Resources Management ( Agriculture, Animal Sciences, Forestry, Fishery, Food Science and Technology, Pharmaceutical), Tropical Wildlife Ecology and Biodiversity, Tropical Health and Medicine, Tropical Marine Science and Biology, Industrial and Engineering (Bioenergy, Green Engineering), Risk Mitigation and Management, Tropical Natural Resources Degradation and Conservation, and 9. Mine and Land Management
The objective of the seminar are: (1) To exchange and share the experiences, new ideas, concepts and research results on tropical natural resources biodiversity, conservation, sustainable technology and utilization for better human prosperity (2) To promote collaboration in research on tropical natural resources; (3) To promote global action for sustainable utilization of tropical natural resources
The isntr2015 will be held in Mataram, the capital city of West Nusa Tenggara. The Mataram city is centrally located on the west coast on tropical island of Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara Province, Indonesia. Unique culture, tropical natural resources, rainforest, hand waving, agriculture and aquaculture and traditional mining are amongst the main part of live in Lombok. Lombok is one of the major holiday destinations in Indonesia with ranges city and holiday hotels. The island is easily accessed through integrated international and domestic transportation; by airline, bus and ferry; directly to Lombok or from the next island of Bali and many big cities in Indonesia. It is renowned for the unique traditional cultures, white sandy beaches, Mount Rinjani, the Gili’s (small islands) and diverse marine flora and fauna. The participant are offered with ranges of tours in Lombok in completion of the scientific agenda.
